My B-I-L Jim. He has imagined, designed, and built a most amazing model train layout in his basement. Heavily influenced by past employment in the transportation industry - Jim was a truck driver - the layout is a microcosm of the American heartland - including industrial and warehouse infrastructure as well as familiar suburban and rural scenes. I believe it's a labor of love and his attention to detail is amazing.

I took a bunch of pics of the little land and will be posting them here periodically, perhaps on Train Tuesday, or Train Thursday...
