La palabra Sigüenza viene de la palabra prerromana “Segontia”, con lo que el gentilicio de sus habitantes es “seguntinos”.
La Catedral de Sigüenza (Guadalajara) – Spain, fue iniciada en estilo románico en el siglo XII, posteriormente continuó en estilo gótico, aquí vemos las bóvedas sexpartitas del crucero con sus ventanales, que fue restaurado en el siglo XX.
