We finally have some new material after a long absence from shooting! Starting off was a beautiful dawn at Moeraki Boulders. I timed our visit for high tide which was both awesome and difficult to shoot as the water would be pushing all the way back to the cliffs behind at times. This image taken with a Nisi 3 stop Medium GND, a filter I used for most of the trip.

Lake Ohau

While based at Lake Pukaki, I explored the areas around Lake Ohau and what a place it is! I reckon next time I might find some accommodation closer to here as I was amazed by the scenery in the area. This was taken on a blustery morning where Mt Cook and the distant mountains were whited out and strong winds had blown the lake into a frenzy. The light that came was bizarre and fantastic!

Hooker Lake

After a clear subzero night, ice patterns form at the edge of Hooker Lake on a beautiful morning at one of my favourite locations to visit on any New Zealand trip! I just have to get some clouds in the sky one day lol

That Wanaka Tree
Shot on a beautiful early spring dawn with plenty of company and some nice light. This was taken about 20 minutes before dawn as a panorama of 5 horizontal images.
