Loch Lomond,
Scotland
This view taken from the summit of Ben Lomond which lies on the north east shore of Loch Lomond, one of Scotland's most famous natural attractions. We have arrived in Scotland 3 days ago and the weather has been pretty good so far with blustery winds but cloud cover providing ever changing light such as in this photograph taken from the shadows looking into light and some rain. The summit itself is 974m elevation and takes a brisk 2 hour walk to get there.

The Cobbler (Ben Arthur)
Scotland
Our travels in Scotland have now taken us into the highlands. One of our days around the Loch Lomond region took us to Argyll Forest Park where I hiked up the the summit of the Cobbler where there were just astounding views of each of the peaks as well as the land below. On the way down, the fast winds and clouds gave very interesting lighting conditions where parts of the mountain would be lit at any one stage. Ben Arthur itself is 881m in elevation and takes a solid 1.5-2 hours brisk walking to do.

Rannoch Moor,
Scotland
I had seen images of this lone tree standing on an island in Rannoch Moor. We unwittingly found this spot after parking along the roadside and wandering along the shores of the boggy area (which still had some nasty midges or other insects flying around). The day was blustery and the water not smooth, so we put on our dense ND filters and created some still waters of our own.
No shortage of compositions from this site here - a pity that we had no good light during our couple of days in the area though.

Loch Coire Lagan
Isle of Skye
Scotland
Finally, some internet access that allows uploading lol. This was a recent image from one of our clear days on Skye during which we walked up to Coire Lagan from Glen Brittle in the late afternoon. Amazing light shows from up there including this one just at sunset. I had ascended the scree slopes you can see to the left but came rushing down when I felt the gold light on my face! Panorama of 6 verticals - the black Cuillins were huge from that aspect

Beinn Alligin,
Scotland
It has been a magnificent 3 days of hiking here in Torridon. Earlier today, I went up the ridgeline of Beinn Alligin and from near the high point of Sgurr Mor, this view of the 3 horns of Beinn Alligin and the horns of Beinn Dearg in the background were prominent. Passing light helped motivate me to take pictures and unpack the camera gear in the wind and cold. Not a walk to be taken lightly (with alot of gear anyway) but highly highly recommended!
