Horseshoe falls - 10 minutes upstream from Russell Falls in Mount Field National Park.
(I might add , this angle was inspired by various shots taken by Kah Kit Yoong )
I had no idea what the bubbling in front of the rock would look like on long exposure but am quite happy with how it turned out :)
Waited for some cloudcover to get a more evenly lit shot but alas nature wouldn't comply!

Blue hour on a wet morning at Rapid Bay . I shot this from a nearby hill overlooking the old and new jetties. On a good day, diving is a popular recreation that I'm now more aware of since Marianne has her diving certificate! Image taken with a 3 stop hard GND pre dawn as light started to magically appear.

Secret Falls
Hobart

Used to be a secret, now a curiosity people who have not photographed it before want to see anyway. It didn't disappoint - really lovely spot , pity it's hard to get something original from here though!

Bungaree Station
Clare

With this picture I thought I'd share an observation. I've noticed that the trend for wedding and portrait photography these days seems to be to expose for shadows on the people and have the background completely overexposed. I think that works well for a lot of portraits but the landscape photographer in me dies a little when I imagine what could be in the background. As a result, Marianne and I try to be a little different by making sure that backgrounds are exposed as well as possible and for outdoor shots, the use of a CPL helps us achieve that along with some fill flash. It may not be to everyone's taste, but it's our vision of wedding photography and so far, clients have been happy :) ( but then again, they did pick us based largely on our landscape work lol)
