This photo of Jaisalmer (one of the most impressive cities in Rajasthan) was taken from a viewpoint, so the composition is "captive". All I had to do is place the horizon in the top third. I waited for the blue hour, and instead of taking the three exposures I usually did, I took a single exposure by turning the histogram to the right and making sure the highlights weren't blown.
With 100 ISO, the low noise of my full-frame mirrorless camera's sensor, and a post-cleaning using PureRaw Dx0 software, I was guaranteed a highly detailed, high-quality shadow shot, without the need for HDR.
The photo is taken with a 50mm lens, F8 aperture and 1 s speed.
