Η Παναγίτσα του κάστρου στην Σκόπελο αποτελεί αναμφισβήτητα το σήμα κατατεθέν του σμαραγδένιου νησιού των Σποράδων κορυφώνοντας με ιδανικό τρόπο την γραφικότητα του χαρακτηρισμένου ως παραδοσιακού διατηρητέου οικισμού της Χώρας.
Μαζί με το πολύ κοντινό μεταβυζαντινό εκκλησάκι του Αγίου Νικολάου είναι η πρώτη εικόνα που αντικρύζει ο επισκέπτης μπαίνοντας το πλοίο στο λιμάνι ικανή να τον σαγηνέψει πάραυτα και να τον προδιαθέσει ευμένεια για την συναρπαστική συνέχεια.
Όπως γίνεται φανερό από τις ημερομηνίες,πρόκειται για φωτογραφίες του βαθέος αρχείου μεταφέροντας μόνο γλυκές αναμνήσεις από την εκεί παραμονή μας.
Τις αναρτήσεις “υπαγόρευσε” όμως η ανησυχία από την είδηση ότι τα δύο αυτά εμβληματικά μνημεία με τα κοντινά σπίτια και τον δρόμο ο οποίος οδηγεί στο κάστρο βρέθηκαν κυριολεκτικά στον αέρα από σοβαρή κατολίσθηση λόγω της διάβρωσης από τα κύματα του υποστηρικτικού βράχου.
Άς ελπίσουμε ότι τα γνωστά τέρατα της Ελληνικής γραφειοκρατίας και αδιαφορίας των ανευθυνοϋπευθύνων δεν θα αφήσουν να χαθούν τόσο σημαντικά “κοσμήματα” της πολιτιστικής κληρονομιάς μας.

Panagitsa(small Virgin Mary)of the castle at Skopelos is undoubtedly the trademark of Sporades emerald island , ideally peaking the picturesque character of the traditional preserved settlement of Chora.
Along with the nearly post-Byzantine church of Agios Nikolaos is the first impression of the visitor entering the ship at the port capable of captivating him immediately and predisposing him to fascinating continuity.
As is clear from the dates, these are photographs of the deep archive carrying only sweet memories of our stay there.
However, these postes were prompted by concern that the two emblematic monuments with nearby houses and the road leading to the castle were literally in the air from severe landslides due to erosion by the waves of the supporting rock.
Hope that, the well-known monsters of Greek bureaucracy and the indifference of the irresponsible will not let such important "jewels" of our cultural heritage be lost.
