Η Αγία Κυριακή είναι ένας παραδοσιακός οικισμός στο νοτιότερο άκρο του Πηλίου ,ένα γραφικό ψαροχώρι με έντονη νησιώτικη αύρα.
Χτισμένη αμφιθεατρικά πάνω από μια φωτεινή γαλάζια, πεντακάθαρη θάλασσα, όπου πολυάριθμα, ξύλινα,πολύχρωμα, ψαροκάϊκα λικνίζονται νωχελικά και καθρεφτίζονται φιλάρεσκα στα σχεδόν πάντα ατάραχα νερά του μικρού,παραδοσιακού,προστατευμένου από λιμενοβραχίονα λιμανιού της..

Επίνειο του χωριού Τρίκερι, χρωστά πολλά στο γνωστό και φημισμένο καρνάγιο δίπλα από το λιμάνι το οποίο συμπληρώνει την πανέμορφη εικόνα αλλά δίνει και ζωογόνες οικονομικές ανάσες στους κατοίκους του.

Agia Kyriaki is a traditional settlement on the southern tip of Pelion, a picturesque fishing village with a strong island breeze.
Built amphitheatrically over a bright blue, crystal-clear sea, where numerous, wooden, colorful, fisherman baskets are laughing and snapping naked in the almost always harsh waters of the small, traditional, sheltered by the harbor.

The port of Trikeri, owes much to the well-known and famous shipyard next to the harbor, which complements the beautiful image, but also gives life-giving economic revival to its inhabitants.

Μια φωτογραφική… πρόγευση για την Αγία Κυριακή και την αναζωογονητική εμπειρία που ζήσαμε με την σύζυγο εκεί.
Η Αγία Κυριακή είναι ένας παραδοσιακός οικισμός στο νοτιότερο άκρο του Πηλίου ,ένα γραφικό ψαροχώρι με έντονη νησιώτικη αύρα.

Ο “ Μανώλας“ στην Αγία Κυριακή

“Σ’αυτό το μαγαζί,ρε γυναίκα,θα έπινα ένα τσιπουράκι»!
Απόρησα…κι εγώ ο ίδιος που το ξεστόμισα η,δε, σύζυγος έμεινε εμβρόντητη αφού γνωρίζει ότι
δεν είμαι καθόλου του “έξω” (ποτέ για “καφέ “ και σπανιότατατατατατατα για φαΐ).
Αλλά ο “ο Μανώλας“,τουλάχιστον εμφανισιακά,πρέπει να μπεί στα λεξικά και τις εγκυκλοπαίδειες ως υπόδειγμα δίπλα στο λήμμα ”μερακλής”!
Τι να πρωτοθαυμάσει κανείς;
Το υπέροχο και έξοχα διατηρημένο πέτρινο σπίτι στο ισόγειο του οποίου στεγάζεται;
Τις-ΕΠΙΤΕΛΟΥΣ- ξύλινες με ψάθινο κάθισμα καρέκλες οι οποίες θα έπρεπε διά νόμου να επιβληθούν σε όλους τους παραδοσιακούς οικισμούς γλιτώνοντάς μας από την πρακτική ”βαρβαρότητα” του πλαστικού;
Τον ιδανικό χρωματικό συνδυασμό στην επίπλωση και τα τραπεζομάντηλα;
Τις χειροποίητες επιγραφές-ζωγραφιές στους τοίχους και χρωματικές διακοσμήσεις στα πιθάρια,στα σωσίβια και τις γλάστρες;(στην Αγία Κυριακή,ειρήσθω εν παρόδω,υπάρχει μεγάλη παράδοση στις χειροποίητες επιγραφές)
Όλα τα ανωτέρω ήταν αρκούντως ελκυστικά για να με κάνουν να…υποκύψω θεωρητικά και εκ του ασφαλούς βεβαίως-βεβαίως αφού η ώρα ήταν 9:20κι εμείς είχαμε ήδη τελειώσει την επίσκεψή μας και αποχωρούσαμε(μετά τις 9:00 το πρωί το καλοκαίρι δεν φωτογραφίζω σχεδόν ποτέ)
Το χρωστάω όμως…

"Manolas" at Agia Kyriaki
"In this shop, woman, I would have a tsipouro"!
I abstained ... myself too, who was unleashed, and my wife, was embarrassed knowing that
I am not at all for "out" (never for "coffee" and very rare for food).
But "Manola", at least in appearance, must enter dictionaries and encyclopaedias as an example next to the "lemma" connoisseur!
What to admire first?
The lovely and exquisitely preserved stone house on the ground floor of which is housed?
The- FINALY - wooden chairs with straw-chairs that should be imposed by law in all the traditional settlements, escaping the practical "barbarity" of the plastic?
The ideal color combination in furnishings and tablecloths?
The handmade inscriptions wall paintings and color decorations in the jars, life jackets and pots (I can tell in passing, in Ayia Kyriaki there is a great tradition in handmade inscriptions)
All the above were quite attractive to do me ... I succumb theoretically and of course certainly - certainly after the time was 9: 20and we had already finished our visit and we were leaving (after 9:00 in the morning in the summer I do not almost never photograph )
But I owe it ...

Αγία Κυριακή
Η απόλαυση με την θάλασσα για μένα είναι μόνο…οπτική!
Έτσι,οι δύο ημέρες που «χάλασε» ο καιρός ήταν για μένα η φωτογραφική ευκαιρία μου στις διακοπές.
Από τα προηγούμενα χρόνια είχαμε αφήσει…ανοιχτούς λογαριασμούς με την Αγία Κυριακή!
Όταν,λοιπόν,ξύπνησα στις 4 το πρωί (χωρίς ξυπνητήρι) και είδα τον ουρανό σε…αναβρασμό,κατάλαβα ότι θα επικρατήσουν οι συνθήκες τις οποίες θεωρώ ιδανικές για φωτογράφιση.
Μόλις,όμως,ξύπνησα την σύζυγο,μετά από περίπου μία ώρα άρχισε ξαφνικά βροχή και προβληματιστήκαμε έντονα αν πρέπει να το τολμήσουμε.Τελικά ξεκινήσαμε αρκετά αργότερα υπό καταρρακτώδη βροχή και….ο Θεός βοηθός!
Ένα μικρό διάλειμμα της βροχής στο Βαλτούδι επέτρεψε μερικές λήψεις εκεί κι ύστερα συνεχίσαμε εμείς την πορεία μας και ο ουρανός…το βιολί του!
Με την άφιξη στον προορισμό μας όμως-ώ του θαύματος-έπεσε και η τελευταία σταγόνα της βροχής !
Επιπλέον δε, σαν ο Θεός να θέλησε είτε να ανταμείψει το θάρρος μας ή να λυπηθεί τον κόπο μας , έστειλε το σημάδι του για το οριστικό τέλος της νεροποντής με ένα μικρό αλλά υπέροχο ουράνιο τόξο ταυτόχρονα με την ανατολή από την άλλη μεριά πίσω από το βουνό!
Η σκηνή καταγράφηκε απ’άκρου εις άκρον από την κορυφή του λιμενοβραχίονα σε 14(!!! )κάθετες λήψεις με το zoom του Nikkor 14-24mm τέρμα ανοιχτό.

The pleasure with the sea for me is only ... visual!
So, the two days that "broke down" the weather was for me my photographic opportunity.
From the past years we left ... open accounts with Saint Kyriaki!
So when I woke up at 4 am (without an alarm clock) and saw the sky in ... effervescence, I realized that the conditions that I think are ideal for photography will prevail.
But once I woke up my wife, after about an hour suddenly rain started and we were deeply troubled if we had to dare it. Finally we started later later in torrential rain and ... God helper!
A small break of rain in Valdoudi cove allowed some shots there and then we continued our course and the sky his... job!
On arriving at our destination-of miracles - the last drop of rain fell!
Over and above, as if God wanted either to reward our courage or to regret our effort, he sent his mark on the definitive end of the downpour with a small but wonderful rainbow at the same time as the east Another side behind the mountain!
The scene was recorded end to end from the top of the breakwater in 14 (!!!) vertical shots with Nikkor zoom 14-24mm f / 2.8 open at 14mm.
