Ο θρυλικός «καρβουνιάρης» πάτησε τα 100,στα χρόνια,βεβαίως,διότι στην ταχύτητα δεν κατόρθωσε ποτέ να ξεπεράσει τα 50 χλμ.ανά ώρα ούτε στις δόξες του όταν,δηλαδή,εκτελούσε τα δρομολόγια Καλαμπάκα-Βόλος και αντίστροφα αφού η ισχύς του έφτανε μόλις τους 55 ίππους και το βάρος της μηχανής του άγγιζε τους 35 τόνους!!!!!!!!
Η πάλαι ποτέ ατμάμαξα «22» των ελληνικών σιδηροδρόμων αφίχθη πλέον στον τελευταίο της σταθμό στην πλατεία του ΟΣΕ των Τρικάλων, αποτελώντας ένα από τα ιστορικότερα μνημεία της σιδηροδρομικής βιομηχανίας!.
Η μηχανή και τα βαγόνια της επισκευάστηκαν από το δήμο Τρικκαίων και παραχωρήθηκαν στο Σύλλογο Φίλων Σιδηροδρόμου Τρικάλων ο οποίος το μετέτρεψε σε γραφείο του συλλόγου προκειμένου να στεγάσει τις δράσεις του.
Οι πρωτοβουλίες αυτές έχουν ως στόχο την δημιουργία ενός επισκέψιμου χώρου για τα σχολεία της περιοχής που θα ενημερώνονται για την ιστορία του σιδηροδρόμου μέσα από την προβολή ταινιών και φωτογραφιών αναβαθμίζοντάς το μ’αυτό τον τρόπο σε ένα ζωντανό μουσείο με καρδιά και ψυχή.

The engine and carriages of repaired by the municipality of Trikala and allocated to the Railway Association of Friends of Trikala who turned it into the club office to house its actions.
These initiatives are aimed at creating a visitation area for the schools of the area to be informed about the history of the railroad through the movies and photos upgrading in this way a living museum with heart and soul.

I chose today to make this post on the occasion of the memory of the Oasis of Patience, by the world, Eleni Dragasi, the last empress of the Byzantine throne and mother (8 children) of St. Constantine Palaiologos, the defender of the Constantinople city On this grotesque day May 29 destroyed.
Agia Patience had the name of the mother of First Emperor Aghios Konstantinos, Saint Helen: (Son, son of Eleni founded the city and Konstantinos, son of Helen fell in battle for this city!). Her whole life was a life of holiness and above all a life of struggle with patience and patience.
