Do you want to try to guess what this is? I'll give the answer here bellow these lines tomorrow.

And the answer: It's indeed the bark of a birch tree. Next time I'll have to get something really difficult... hehe... THANKS EVERYONE !!

A real blueberry, found in nature :) It really feels like it's coming out of the picture, doesn't it?

Most of the times all the blueberries we see are in a plastic box, in the shop. But this one here was in a little forest, and had fallen on a leaf. I forgot to eat it, 'cause I was so happy with the photo.

This is the left eye of Jóhannes Kjarval, as on the 2000 ISK banknote, taken with a lens reversed on camera.

This is almost a microscopic shot, I guess. Lichen growing on a stone.
Handheld @100mm - f/2.8 - ISO 400 - 1/100

Lichens are composite organisms consisting of a symbiotic association of a fungus with a photosynthetic partner.

Lichens occur in some of the most extreme environments on earth — arctic tundra, hot deserts, rocky coasts, and toxic slag heaps. However, they are also abundant on leaves and branches in rain forests and temperate woodland, on bare rock, including walls and gravestones, and on exposed soil surfaces in otherwise mesic habitats.

They are widespread and may be long-lived.

However, many are also vulnerable to environmental disturbance, and may be useful to scientists in assessing the effects of air pollution, ozone depletion, and metal contamination.

Lichens have also been used in making dyes and perfumes, as well as in traditional medicines.
