Best viewed large. All rights reserved. Until a few days ago we had been seeing quite a few deer in our area and then almost none. Today I went up on the mountain behind our home and found this several day old cougar track in the crusty snow answering for me why the mystery of disappearing deer. The smaller track is a fawn track. The cat is back!

Best viewed large. All rights reserved. After watching this cat catch and devour a mouse or vole (he never divulged the critter well enough for me to identify it) he looked up at me and I just happened to be ready! Lighting was very nice but a bit from his right side.

Best viewed larg. All rights reserved. Slowly driving out from my camping area I noticed something white I hadn't seen before. I turned the motor off and coasted closer to the object. Much to my surprise this Bobcat was the object as I rolled into a better view and small clearing in the ground cover.
