Her Majesty The Queen is pictured during a visit to RAF Valley in North Wales on 1st April 2011.
Accompanied by HRH The Duke of Edinburgh, the tour was focused around the Military Flying Training Facility at RAF Valley training the fast jet pilots of the future.
The Royal couple visited 22 Squadron of the Search and Rescue Headquarters and hosted by HRH Flt Lt William Wales, looked at a Sea King Helicopter.

On Friday 26th March 2010 HRH Prince Charles, Prince of Wales, visited troops at Camp Bastion in Afghanistan where he spoke with soldiers of the Joint Helicopter Force (Afghanistan), the UK Joint Force Medical Group, and the Joint Force EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) teams.
The Prince also laid a wreath at the Camp Bastion memorial, in memory of British soldiers killed during the campaign.
