I shot this in 1984. There are shots on the same roll that are clearly Berlin, and others from New York City. I flew from Berlin to NYC in 1984, which was the first time I visited New York. Details here make me think this was probably NYC, but...
I can't remember the exact camera I used back then, either. I had a variety of GDR-made Prakticas, and somewhat later, I bought a Canon AE-1.

I dug out some of my very earliest stuff and scanned it today, and probably will continue to scan older stuff and upload it. This is so old I don't really remember what camera I shot it with, though I can remember most of the cameras I owned back then. I suspect this was done with an East German Praktica, I had two or three different models.
I shot this in 1984 on the East River in New York City. Neither painter is wearing a safety harness or hardhat, something nearly unimaginable these days. I suspect no one would actually paint a ship by hand anymore, either.
