Beelitz-Heilstätten is just south of Potsdam and is a large hospital complex first built in the 1890's. In it's last use, it was the largest Soviet military hospital outside the Soviet Union. It has been been abandoned for several years now.

There were several other photographers at Beelitz-Heilstätten the same day, many shooting scantily-clad models. This scene was being shot outdoors, but I liked the view I had from inside the building.

A shot of another building in the Beelitz-Heilstätten hospital complex. Apparently, East German leader Erich Honecker fled to this complex after the collapse of the GDR. He was later flown out of the country on a Soviet military aircraft.

(The title, though, is pure fantasy on my part. No idea whether Honecker was ever actually in this building).
