On my tour of skid row, I met O.T., who really wanted to pose for me. He claimed that he is "a legend" in San Francisco, and in fact, a few minutes later a passer by offered the same opinion. O.T. enjoyed a beer while I took his photograph.

I did a little tour of skid row on Saturday between rain showers.

The gray paint on the abandoned storefronts comes from the city's efforts to "beautify" the area and remove graffiti. Lovely, no ?
