The Netherlands
A thin layer of ice covers the surface of the small lake "Noorderham" near the villages Krommenie and Krommeniedijk.
Lake Noorderham is one of the relics of "Cromme Ye", once in open connection to (Zuider) Sea, via lake Wijker, IJ river and Amsterdam.

Windmill De Woudaap was build ± 1651 to drain polder 't Woud, nowadays known as (the enlarged) Krommenieër-Woudpolder. The mill was renovated in 2008, is situated near Krommenie (Zaanstad), but lies on Uitgeest-territory.
