The Netherlands - Winsum
One of those old wierde (terp, mound) villages in the Groningen Province is Winsum, in fact composed out of three wierde villages: Winsum, Obergum and Bellingeweer. Winsum owns two flour mills: De Ster and De Vriendschap. Both lie close to the village centre and canal Winsumerdiep, that separates the original Winsum (left side) and Obergum (right side).
