Tata Steel is a steel producer, with operations in 26 countries. In Europe the company is one of the largest steel producers. On its website the Tata group claims to be founded on the principle that its activities should always benefit society. But here, at the North Sea coast, close to the villages Wijk aan Zee, IJmuiden and Beverwijk are strongly growing concerns about their impact on public health.
