The Netherlands-Polder Westzaan
Nature reserve De Reef shows a green and red coloured landscape in wintertime. Green, due to another winter with high temperatures. The red dot is caused by the very local, temporary but abundant presence of water fern (Azolla filiculoides-grote kroosvaren).
