Tate & Lyle operates in the Americas, Europe and South East Asia, primarily in two industries: corn wet milling and high-intensity sweeteners.
This plant in Koog aan de Zaan (Netherlands) receives waxy and dent corn by barge and manufactures a wide range of speciality corn starches for the food and paper industries. In addition to producing glucose, it is also the only European manufacturer of polydextrose.
