While photographing the talented ballerina Brenda Delgado with the creative Claudia Corrales during an afternoon shoot, we stumbled upon this unexpected backdrop in Havana Centro. The serendipity of the setting, combined with the dancer’s pose, made this one of my favorite images from the trip. Though it was a staged moment, the spontaneous feel of the scene evoked the same emotion I often experience when creating candid street photography.
