I went to see my buddy Tim on the weekend who kindly showed me around Hamburg. It was freezing cold (under -10 and windy which felt like -20) but we made the best out of it and rented a tilt and shift lens (17mm) to try on Tim’s 5d Mark II. What a pleasure that was! I did not want to get my 400d back afterwards. If it wasn't so expensive… (No Photoshop here, no re-touching, this is how it was).

Tilt and Shift at 17mm wasn’t appropriate here as this was quite in a distance. So I used my old 400d with the 200mm zoom lens to take this shot.

The Dockland is a 5 storey office building designed by Bothe Richter Teherani architects and constructed between 2002 and 2005.
(I just loved this wide angle on the 17mm tilt and shift lens. The yellow light comes from the port in the distance. It was a bit darker but I over exposed deliberately.)
