We got 8 inches of fresh snow today and it's still coming down, so Casey was happy to sit on her favorite rock on the side of the driveway, watching for other animals. We get all sorts of wildlife at the house, including deer (very common), red fox, gray fox, rabbits, snowshoe hare, and an occasional moose, bear, fisher, or coyote. When she spots an animal, she will bark or run a short ways towards it to scare it away, but will never attack or bite.
Casey is a nine year old Border Collie mix, rescue dog. She absolutely loves the snow, so had a great time today playing frisbee and just plain running around.

Casey rests in the yard after another exhausting day of playing, sleeping, eating, and guarding the house from vicious animals like chipmunks and squirrels. She is a 7 year old Border Collie mix, rescue dog.

Casey is a Border Collie mix rescue dog. She absolutely loves the snow. When it is deep enough, she buries her head under it and runs forward - very funny to watch :)
