With this collage of different moments during an eruption of this famous geyser, I begin another album, in this case this marvelous country is Iceland. The land of ice and fire.
Strokkur (Icelandic for "churn") is a fountain geyser located in a geothermal area beside the Hvítá River in Iceland in the southwest part of the country, east of Reykjavík. It is one of Iceland's most famous geysers, erupting once every 6–10 minutes. Its usual height is 15–20 m, although it can sometimes erupt up to 40 m high.

Gullfoss is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Iceland.
During the first half of the 20th century there was much speculation about using Gullfoss to generate electricity. During this period, the waterfall was rented indirectly by its owners, Tómas Tómasson and Halldór Halldórsson, to foreign investors. However, the investors' attempts were unsuccessful, partly due to lack of money. The waterfall was later sold to the state of Iceland, and now the waterfall is protected.

Pingvellir or Thingvellir is a site of historical, cultural and geological importance. It lies in a rift valley that marks the crest of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. It's at the northern end of Þingvallavatn, the largest natural lake in Iceland.
Alpingi, the Icelandic Parliament, was established at Pingvellir in 930 and remained there until 1798.
