Not sure how naked this vaguely Steampunk looking guy had been earlier but what you can't see out of frame is a large sound-system on a bike trailer which had accompanied the 1500 cyclists of the London World Naked Bike Ride 2014.

I love the way his hair (it may be a wig ?) is so orange my camera couldn't cope and the details are completely blown.......

From Wikipedia : "The World Naked Bike Ride (WNBR) is an international clothing-optional bike ride in which participants plan, meet and ride together en masse on human-powered transport (the vast majority on bicycles, but some on skateboards and inline skates), to "deliver a vision of a cleaner, safer, body-positive world."

The dress code motto is "bare as you dare". Full or partial nudity is encouraged, but not mandatory. There is no mandate to cover intimate parts; this is a distinguishing feature of the WNBR against other cycling events.

Creative expression is also encouraged to generate a fun and immersive atmosphere during the ride, capture the attention and imagination of the public and media, and make the experience more personalized and fulfilling for the riders. Body art, such as body painting, are common forms of creative expression, as well as costumes, art bikes, portable sound reinforcement systems (such as public address systems, bullhorns and boomboxes) and musical instruments or other types of noisemaker."

One of the signs from the recent Climate Strike March in Oxford, based on Greta Thunberg's original sign.

More alternative Oxford shots : www.flickr.com/photos/darrellg/albums/72157621783779889

From Wikipedia : "The school strike for the climate (Swedish: Skolstrejk för klimatet), also known variously as Fridays for Future (FFF), Youth for Climate, Climate Strike, Youth Strike for Climate, is an international movement of school students who take time off from class to participate in demonstrations to demand action to prevent further global warming and climate change.

Publicity and widespread organising began after Swedish schoolgirl Greta Thunberg staged a protest in August 2018 outside the Swedish Riksdag (parliament), holding a sign that read "Skolstrejk för klimatet" ("School strike for the climate").

A global strike on 15 March 2019 gathered more than one million strikers. Around 2200 strikes were organised in 125 countries. On 24 May 2019, the second global strike took place, in which 1600 events across 150 countries drew hundreds of thousands of protesters. The events were timed to coincide with the 2019 European Parliament election.

The 2019 Global Week for Future was a series of 4500 strikes across over 150 countries, focused around Friday 20 September and Friday 27 September. Likely the largest climate strikes in world history, the 20 September strikes gathered roughly 4 million protesters, many of them schoolchildren, including 1.4 million people on strike in Germany. On 27 September, an estimated 2 million people participated in demonstrations worldwide, including over 1 million protesters in Italy and several hundred thousand protesters in Canada."

Another photo of the wonderful Horns of Plenty band ensuring the Climate Strike marchers had a good time.

One of the photos I took during the Climate Strike March in Oxford on the 20th September 2019. I believe the number of people attending has been put at 3000 but on the day it felt like there were probably twice that number. That may just have been down to how vocal they were.

From their website : "Horns of Plenty like to play the wonderful and varied music we have encountered from around the world, in diverse genres and rhythms. A lot of tunes come from New Orleans (USA), which has a strong Carnival street band tradition. But often we need an arrangement for the instruments that we have in the band – mostly saxes and brass plus percussion – of tunes which were written for very different instruments. And we like to mix things up a bit, playing a New Orleans second line tune, Iko Iko, over a rhythmic base of Maracatu from North East Brazil, for example. We even do a Ska version of Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony (Ode to Joy) which we call Ode to Jah.

Other tunes come from the Balkans and Middle East. Misirlou was originally a traditional love song with roots in Greek (rebetiko) and Egyptian traditions. And of course the irrepressible Aa Ante Amalapuram is (unmistakably) from South India."

Probably best to avoid British politics at the moment but here's a not particularly flattering photo of Layla Moran, Lib Dem MP for West Oxfordshire and Abingdon, speaking at the recent Climate Strike march in Oxford. She gave a very passionate speech and her I've caught mid flow......
