From Wikipedia : "The World Naked Bike Ride (WNBR) is an international clothing-optional bike ride in which participants plan, meet and ride together en masse on human-powered transport (the vast majority on bicycles, but some on skateboards and inline skates), to "deliver a vision of a cleaner, safer, body-positive world."
The dress code motto is "bare as you dare". Full or partial nudity is encouraged, but not mandatory. There is no mandate to cover intimate parts; this is a distinguishing feature of the WNBR against other cycling events.
Creative expression is also encouraged to generate a fun and immersive atmosphere during the ride, capture the attention and imagination of the public and media, and make the experience more personalized and fulfilling for the riders. Body art, such as body painting, are common forms of creative expression, as well as costumes, art bikes, portable sound reinforcement systems (such as public address systems, bullhorns and boomboxes) and musical instruments or other types of noisemaker."

Not sure how naked this vaguely Steampunk looking guy had been earlier but what you can't see out of frame is a large sound-system on a bike trailer which had accompanied the 1500 cyclists of the London World Naked Bike Ride 2014.
I love the way his hair (it may be a wig ?) is so orange my camera couldn't cope and the details are completely blown.......

There was I just crossing Waterloo Bridge, like you do, when hundreds (approx 1500 apparently) of naked cyclists start going past. It was quite a surreal sight but they seemed to be having fun and none of the astonished onlookers seemed to be offended, they were all too busy taking photos with their camera phones......
I've managed to find a second shot from the World Naked Bike Ride London 2014 that won't set alarm bells ringing in Flickr HQ......

Whilst on a reconnaissance trip in London the week before Photo24 I was taken rather by surprise by approx 1500 naked cyclists. They were the London part of the World Naked Bike Ride, an annual protest against Oil dependency. It's definitely one way to draw attention to your cause.
Perhaps unsurprisingly this is about the only photo I can post here without flagging it as '"Moderate" which would seem a bit ironic when everyone in London that day could see the cyclists in the flesh (pun indended)........
