Another shot from last Friday's Olympus / Photojabber Oxford Photowalk. With our borrowed Olympus E-M1 MKII's we were encouraged to shoot with a bike theme so consequently I took quite a few shots of the 'App' bikes that have now become a familiar sight around town.

During last Friday's Olympus / Photojabber Oxford Photowalk we were encouraged to think differently when using the borrowed E-M1 MkII cameras.
I must admit I wasn't very good at doing this but this shot was maybe one I wouldn't normally have taken without the vari-angle flip out screen.

The 'Lantern' artwork atop the Westgate Centre is one of a number of public art works incorporated into the refurbished Shopping Centre. This one is by Swiss artist Daniela Schönbächler and was apparently inspired by a stained sglass window in All Souls College.
The observant amongst you will have realised this wasn't taken with a Nikon DSLR....... Don't panic, I've not thrown caution to the wind and jumped ship to Olympus. I did however spend Friday using an E-M1 MkII as part of an Olympus / Photojabber photowalk. I'll post some more shots shortly, I'll also try and post a summary of my views of this camera over on my Facebook page over the coming days : www.facebook.com/dsgphotos
