A solitary silhouetted figure from Antony Gormley's 'Another Place' staring out to the Irish Sea from Crosby Beach. I'm not surprised some people find these figures a bit creepy......

As can be seen in this shot of 'Another Place' by Antony Gormley, the one hundred life-size statues on Crosby Beach vary in their position. Some stand near the promenade, other are so close to the seas edge they're completely submerged at high tide.

I liked this shot of a woman staring quizzically at one of the Antony Gormley 'Another Place' statues on Crosby Beach, it helps that her blouse matches the yellow and red tones of the rest of the photo.

This was my second visit to Antony Gormley's 'Another Place' installation at Crosby Beach, near Liverpool. In the intervening years the salt water and weather has changed the lifesize iron casts considerably, depending on your point of view it's either for the better or worse. I for one think they're more interesting.
