A geometric abstract detail from the Sou Fujimoto designed 2013 Serpentine Pavilion. The entire structure was built from these slender steel boxes forming a very unique temporary Pavilion.

Delighted to announce that the uncropped version of this Science Museum cafe shot has won 'Best Overall Image' of the Advanced Photographer Magazine / Samsung #photo24 event. My prize is a 10 inch Samsung Tab 2 tablet, presumably the winning shots are also going to feature in next months Magazine.

I thought the recreated interiors at the Black Country Museum had been done brilliantly. I think they tread a fine line between being artfully staged and looking like someone's just walked out of the room and will be back in a minute.

Taken recently the glass fins on the facade of the Hawkins/Brown University of Oxford Biochemistry Department are looking a bit streaky now but for me it adds an extra layer to their 'interestingness'.
Just realised Hawkins/Brown don't have a Flickr group dedicated to their buildings so if you've got any photos of their projects please join and add them here : www.flickr.com/groups/1933166@N20

I visited the Eggopolis when it was in Oxford almost twenty years ago so I was keen to visit Levity II when it came for a week to Taurus Crafts in Lydney, Gloucestershire.
The best way of describing it is to compare it to being transported to the inside of a huge bouncy castle. The BBC video weblink here gives some idea but the intensity of the colours is something you can only experience in person : www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-gloucestershire-14263104
Needless to say, I've more shots to come.
