Can you guess what it is yet ? The clue's in the title......

Not sure why I thought at the time it was a good idea to frame this shot of the Library of Birmingham like this but even now sat here a week after it was taken I still like it. I think it's an attempt to reduce the building down to it's absolute iconic minimum ?

The spatially complex interior of the Mecanoo designed Library of Birmingham is a complete surprise given the simple forms of the building exterior.

This part of the Mecanoo designed Library of Birmingham in particular has a funky retro feel thanks to the bold yellow floor and wonderfully sixties chairs.

On a technical note this shot was produced from two different exposures from a single RAW file. Don't look too carefully though, you might see the joins.......
