The Cube by MAKE Architects is quite possibly the craziest building I've seen in a while. I took a few shots but none of them really capture just how unusual the building really is. I'd be interested to know what the locals make of the design by Ken Shuttleworth (originally from Birmingham) and his team.

Looking up the centre of the kaleidoscopic atrium of the Make Architects designed Cube in Birmingham. The figure in the centre is a life size sculpture by the artist Temper.

A fisheye shot of the rather Calatrava-esque looking 'Foreign Office Architects' designed Grand Central Station / Shopping complex in Birmingham, following my trip there for the Photography Show at the NEC last weekend.
This is one of a number of shots I took before I was approached by Security who told me I was not allowed to take photos. Having suggested that maybe they should put up some notices to that effect he asked me not to take any more.
I mostly complied with his request........
