A panorama looking towards MediaCity at Salford Docks showing the Wilkinson Eyre footbridge. The bridge has only been completed in the last year or two, it makes for a great place to wander with a camera now as it's possible to do a circuit that takes in a couple of interesting bridges, The Lowry Centre, the Daniel Libeskind designed Imperial War Museum North and the MediaCity complex itself..

From Wikipedia : "The Salford Quays lift bridge (also known as Salford Quays Millennium footbridge) is a 95-metre long vertical lift bridge bridge spanning the Manchester Ship Canal, in Greater Manchester, England. The bridge, which was completed in 2000, is located near the terminus of the canal at the old Manchester Docks. It links Salford Quays to Trafford Wharfside and has a lift of 18 metres, allowing large watercraft to pass beneath it."
