One of the first photos I took during the 24hr Advanced Photographer / Samsung photoshoot in London recently. It's a shame not long after this the sun disappeared for the rest of the event but I suppose that just added to the challenge.

I'd never really had the opportunity to photograph London at night so taking part in the Advanced Photographer Magazine / Samsung 24hr London photoshoot proved to be just what I needed to add some night shots to my collection.

Taken outside a shop in Picadilly Circus, this guy with his bag proved the perfect subject to shoot in front of this shop window.

I'll be having a short break from my Manchester / Salford shots to upload my shots from the recent Advanced Photographer Magazine 24 hour London photoshoot I undertook. About 100 of us spent the whole day photographing the capital so it's going to be fascinating to see what everyone got up to with their time.

A striking cafe found at the very rear of the Science Museum in South Kensington.

This is one of my favourite shots from the recent 24hr London photoshoot I took part in. Organised by Advanced Photographer Magazine it was a great opportunity to spend some time photographing our wonderful capital city even if it turned out to be more a challenge than I'd anticipated mostly due to the huge distance walked and the less than perfect weather.

Canary Wharf tube station by Foster & Partners. I've made a mono version of this shot too which I may upload at some point but I actually quite like the contrast between the warm light in the station with the cool light of the (wet and rainy) exterior.

One of the things I did to fill the time during the 24 hour London photo challenge was to travel along the Jubilee Line photographing the tube stations.
