A detail that caught my eye down at Ofelia Beach, a new urban leisure area next to the Royal Danish Playhouse on the Copenhagen waterfront.

The shot below shows how dramatically cloudy it had been when we entered Arken Museum of Modern Art, having spent a couple of hours in there we were greeted with a completely different scene upon our exit.
From Wikipedia : "ARKEN Museum of Modern Art (Danish: ARKEN Museum for Moderne Kunst) is a private non-for-profit charity, state authorized, contemporary art museum near Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark. The museum was conceived and created by Copenhagen County.....
The museum is located in the suburb-city Ishøj, close to the bay of Køge (Køge bugt), 20 kilometers south of Copenhagen. ARKEN was designed by the Danish architect Søren Robert Lund, in a distinctive architectural form. It was opened on 15 March 1996 by her majesty of Denmark, Queen Margrethe.....
The ARKEN museum features modern works by Danish, Scandinavian and international painters. The museum also has amassed a collection of around 400 post-war contemporary art pieces. These include works by artist such as Damien Hirst, Olafur Eliasson, Sherin Neshat, Wolfgang Tillmans, and Danish / Norwegian duo Ingar Dragset and Michael Elmgreen."

Conditions were near perfect for shooting the Bella Sky Hotel in Orestad, Copenhagen and the tilting towers made for interesting shots. Only a few more to go ;-)

I visited this building in Orestad, Copenhagen a few years ago soon after it had been completed and thought it was great, this time around I had some good weather so I was able to get some shots that I think do it justice. More shots to come over the next couple of days.
From Wikipedia : "Tietgenkollegiet (English: Tietgen Student Hall), named for Danish financier C. F. Tietgen (1829-1891), is a student residence built in new district Ørestad close to the centre of Copenhagen. The building has a conspicuous circular shape, inspired by traditional southern Chinese Hakka architecture, and is designed by Danish architects Lundgaard & Tranberg in 2006. The design has won it a RIBA European Award."
