I remember thinking when I took these sunset silhouettes that it was a shame it didn't feature a young, trendy couple but on reflection I like it more now, it's somehow less cliched and more meaningful.

An oldy but a 'goldy', I uploaded the original un-cropped version of this shot of the Dreaming Spires of Oxford a few years ago and it's gone on to become one of my most viewed photos of Oxford. Recently realised it made for a good square crop whilst searching my photostream for a client that wanted square format prints.

A couple admiring the city panorama from Parc Guell terrace, by Antonio Gaudi.

I remember thinking when I visited Barcelona that, though Gaudi was undoubtedly a genius, his Architecture was an evolutionary dead end. Since then people like Zaha Hadid and Santiago Calatrava seem to have picked up his Architectural 'baton' and ran with it.
