There's some less than subtle 'dodging' to the underside of this big cantilevered section of the gasNatural Headquarters building by Enric Miralles. Exposure wise this building proved a nightmare as the combination of reflective surfaces, deep shadows and deep blue sky meant any shot had to be a compromise.

The gasNatural Headquarters building by Enric Miralles has some very unusual features including this irregularly shaped protrusion. Not quite sure if there's any logic to the shape but I don't think there's any connection with Gas, natural or otherwise.

All the windows and balconies to the upper floors of the Mercat Santa Caterina featured these movable shutters. Not only are they entirely practical in the Mediterranean sun they ensure the building is subtlely ever-changing.
