For these 'magic hour shots' of the Louvre Courtyard part of me wishes there would've been a more dramatic sky but at least the plain blue sky doesn't detract from the spectacularly lit Architecture.

Closing time at the Louvre but there was enough time for a few shots devoid of the usual crowds. This wideangle shot isn't HDR but is heading that way thanks to the use of Topaz Adjust, used here to pull detail out of the shadows.
From Wikipedia : "In 1983, French President François Mitterrand proposed the Grand Louvre plan to renovate the building and relocate the Finance Ministry, allowing displays throughout the building. Architect I. M. Pei was awarded the project and proposed a glass pyramid to stand over a new entrance in the main court, the Cour Napoléon. The pyramid and its underground lobby were inaugurated on 15 October 1988. The second phase of the Grand Louvre plan, La Pyramide Inversée (The Inverted Pyramid), was completed in 1993. As of 2002, attendance had doubled since completion."

The Main entrance Hall of the Banksy versus Bristol Museum Exhibition.
This busy shot is fairly representative of the exhibition itself as it features a whole load of stuff, some of it more effective than others. I think it's fair to say that within the hundreds of ideas on show there's more than a couple of real gems.
