A few miles outside Tallinn is a great open air "Folk Museum' full of traditional buildings transplanted there from all over the country. These icicles catching the sunshine were hanging from the eaves of a thatched cottage.

Tallinns retains a Medieval feel due at least in part to the largely intact ring of city walls and towers, some of which are accessible to the public.

The original Slide was slightly underexposed so I've had to rely on my slide scanner to pull an image out of the darkness (a new piece of kit I'm still trying to get my head around). This has however created quite an atmospheric shot of Tallinns Lower Old Towns skyline.
