I decided to give the shutters in the previous upload a paint job with a top coat of Lilac, available in 10 Litre tins from a Photoshop near you.

We treated ourselves to a Thai meal at the lovely Royal Orchid restaurant in Albufiera.

In case you wondering why it's deserted it's because we were the first customers of the day, only fair when you've a 3 1/2 year old in tow. We ordered our daughter a childs meal thinking we'd get some chicken noodles or something and were surprised when they brought out fishfingers and chips. Of course thinking about it we shouldn't have been too suprised, afterall we were in Albufeira, not Bangkok.

By careful positioning of this Orchid in some sunlight I was able to just light the flower itself, I've further darkened down the background to isolate it from its surroundings.

As you may have guessed by now, I was rather taken by these award-winning 'Wallpiercings' by Ron Gilad seen in the Design Museum. I also appreciate that a lot of their appeal comes from having a lot of them together so that's not something I'll be affording anytime soon.

The last shot of these wonderful 'Wallpiercings' is also the last shot from our 10th Anniversary trip to London last Summer. It's probably my favourite of the series, maybe as it's a bit subtler than some of the others.

My dilemma now is what to upload next.....
