This is taken on a footbridge linking two of the La Defense skyscrapers. It took a while to wait for this shot as it was lunchtime and the bridge was full of people going to and fro. I liked this figure though as his hunched shoulders seemed to say something about the drudgery of the '9 to 5'.
I hadn't done many of these 'blue tinted, Topaz Adjust with a bit of diffusion' shots in a while but I'm making up for it with these Paris shots. Somehow it does seem to suit contemporary architecture quite well.

Having been uploading them for a week this is absolutely my last shot of the Inigo Jones designed Tulip Stair. It's very similar to another already uploaded but here I've increased the contrast and added a sepia tint.
Of course next time I'm in London I may go back to the Queens House and take more as these were taken on a bright overcast day and it would be interesting to how different lighting conditions affect it.

I followed this couple along the Passeig de Gràcia for quite a distance as I wanted to capture their silhouette and shadow against the paving featuring a Gaudi design.
I think I prefer my cropped sq previously uploaded as it makes it more universal.

A brief interruption to my London shots to upload some shots taken in Oxford last weekend of Slovakian model Chloe Noir. She's staying here for a couple of weeks and contacted me to see if I'd be interested in taking some Romantic Gothic shots of her.
Whilst not my usual subject or style I jumped at the chance to do something a bit different so last Saturday we spent a fun couple of hours shooting in and around Merton Street.

A slightly different take on the framed shot of All Souls College, Nicholas Hawksmoors masterpiece on the Radcliffe Square, Oxford.
Interestingly I've just found out from Wikipedia that the full title of the College is "The Warden and College of the Souls of all Faithful People deceased in the University of Oxford". I think I'll stick to All Souls.
