One of a few shots I'm uploading of a Cotswold Wedding photographed back in August. For this I climbed up on the wall and shot into the sun using flash to fill in the shadows.
As I've explained previously, as part of an ongoing challenge to myself I been trying to step outside the relatively narrow confines of my normal photographic subjects. In conjunction with my wife, a part-time portrait photographer, we undertook our first Wedding for paying clients. I've photographed most of my friends weddings but somehow getting paid for it raised the stakes considerably . In the end we got some good shots and the Bride and Groom went away happy customers. Somehow we seem to have already agreed to do several more next year.

Not deliberately teasing anyone waiting to see some photos of the Wedding I shot at the Ashmolean Museum three weeks ago but the bride and groom still haven't seen the photos yet (I did finish processing them last weekend but we still haven't managed to meet up yet). I liked this beautifully simple Wedding Table as it really allows the fabulous setting to dominate.

Whilst Marie was taking some formal portraits of A&H I grabbed this shot which I really like as it looks as though the two of them are in their own little world (in a way they were as we'd taken them off to a little secret garden hidden away in Balliol College).

Not finished with my Turkey shots just yet but I thought I'd share a couple of photos from the Wedding that Marie and I photographed two weeks ago.I've just finished processing the shots and I think some of them are pretty special even if I do say so myself.
