I've given this portrait of model Ivory Flame the subtlest of red tints. I think it's one of my favourite shots I took during the session.

I think I prefer the mono version of this shot of the new Kings Cross Concourse roof, the mix of yellow and pink isn't really one that works for me. Having said that I want to get back here at dusk because that's when most of the best shots I've seen have been taken. Next time I'd also shift the viewpoint upwards a bit as it would be nice to complete the semi-circle of glazing, again on the mono version I've added a slight border which helps visually.

From WIkipedia : "A new semi-circular departures concourse, opened to the public on 19 March 2012, has been built in the space directly to the west of the station behind the Great Northern Hotel, some outbuildings of which have been demolished. Designed by John McAslan and built by Vinci, it is intended to cater for much-increased passenger flows and provide greater integration between the intercity, suburban and underground sections of the station, facilitating interchange between King's Cross and St Pancras. Departing passengers use the new concourse; arriving passengers exit the station from the old concourse on Euston Road. The architect claims that the roof is the longest single-span station structure in Europe. The semi-circular building has a radius of 54 metres and over 2000 triangular roof panels, half of which are glass."

I remember thinking when I took these sunset silhouettes that it was a shame it didn't feature a young, trendy couple but on reflection I like it more now, it's somehow less cliched and more meaningful.
