'Lion Tamer (eaten)' by Banksy.

I'm not quite sure how I managed to avoid getting anyone in the background of this shot as the Museum was full to capacity. We'd waited nearly 3hrs to get into the Banksy versus Bristol Museum Exhibition but once we were inside that was quickly forgotten.

I've photographed the Planetarium of at-Bristol before, but I think this is my favourite shot so far. It was a great sky and I think maybe the ball had recently been given a bit of a polish.

From Wikipedia : "At-Bristol is a public science and technology "exploration" and education centre in Bristol, England. At its opening the centre consisted of Explore, which contains features on mechanics, sound and light, computer science, space and the human brain; Wildwalk, a science centre comprising two artificial rainforests, aquariums and other ecology-related exhibits; and an IMAX theatre.

Wildwalk and the IMAX Theatre closed at the end of March 2007 due to a lack of funding and government support. Explore continues to operate, and the Wildwalk building is to be converted into an aquarium by Blue Reef Aquarium, with the IMAX cinema being used to show nature and wildlife films."

Found this shot of Bristol's Millennium Square whilst looking for some dusk shots of buildings for my 'Architecture - Ancient to Modern' talk I'm giving at Wallingford Photographic Club tomorrow night. Visitors welcome by the way, 8pm at Crowmarsh Recreation Hall (Thursday, 18th March).

I've just realised this was a 0.7 second exposure without a tripod, I guess I'm getting better at hand-holding long exposures.

I'm always looking for slightly different ways to shoot familiar sights. Reflection in shiny black cars are an easy one to look out for. Luckily in a place as posh as 'The Circus' in bath there are lots of very shiny, very black cars around.
