Not sure why but a lot of the towns in the area were decorated in the same way.

I thought I'd upload the non-rotated version for two reasons :
a) This version allows you to see the image much bigger without turning 'all sizes' on, something I don't want to do as someone who's images 'borrowed' from Flickr before, and,
b) I thought it'd be interesting to hear whether people thought the rotated version was a bit gimmicky or whether it did suit the composition more ?

Hot off the press, this is one of my favourite images from my photographic trip to Barcelona last weekend. It's taken looking up one of the lightwells to Herzog & de Meuron's extraordinary Forum building. Completed in 2004, sadly the building seemed rather disused and neglected.

It's going to take me a while to edit and post process the 1200 photos so it might be a while before I post some more from the trip but I thought I'd post this as a bit of a teaser.

To me this shot gives a good impression of just how tall the two storey Fishermans huts in Hastings are, along with how closely packed they are (like Sardines ?)

The Suites Avenue Hotel Building, Passeig de Gràcia by Architect Toyo Ito.

This one's for le-spikey, who likes his lines squiggly.

I've gone for a more abstract feel with this one by pushing the colours a bit, selecting a different crop and giving it a bit of difusion to flatten it.
