The extra day of my rover, thanks to a South Pennine Day ranger and an unused return ticket form York,

The first train was a Northern Tour de France extra from Leeds to Hebden Bridge. I double backed from Hebden Bridge to Halifax via a very busy 4 car 158 before taking a Tour de France extra to Blackburn and then back over Copy Pitt to Hebden Bridge.

A strengthened Northern service took me form Hebden Bridge to Manchester Victoria before a speedy cab took ferried me round the City to Piccadilly.

From there I took a TPE Tour de France special to Doncaster and back before a final Virgin run home.
