The day started very early in Lochwinnoch for a train to Glasgow Central and then the one a day East Coast train south. I changed at York for another East Coast train to Kings Cross follwoed by a dash along the Metropolitan and Bakerloo lines to Marylebone.

I then did an up and down shuttle to Birmingham Moor Street, then Banbury and then home to Bletchley via Birmingham
