Boro who took an early lead, when Purver’s ball into the area struck the outstretched arm of Ben Hedley, and Aidan Rutledge fired the spot kick into the bottom right corner.
Boro doubled their lead on 77 minutes, when Purver passed forward to Green, who calmly slotted past keeper Taylor to wrap up the win
Darlo had a number of chances but could not break through and the game finished in a damaging defeat.
The boos coupled with Gowling out chants rang out at full time . This time i was VERY keen to express my displeasure about manager Johsua Gowling suggesting he might like to buzz off.
On the way home news broke that Gowling had been relieved of his duties bringing to an end a disastrous regime that won 3 game sin 17 and included a disgraceful 8-0 hammering.
He had left us 7 points adrift of safety and staring relegation in the face. Good riddance
