Some footage from a bee-eater colony I found right near our campsite on the outskirts of Belgrade.

The main colony was inaccessible ona huge sandy river bank but oen pair had chosen an accessible area to call home to I set up a perch for them and came back the following day using a duvet as a hide!

It took two hours but they eventually arrived and I spent a lovely hour or so watching them bubbling away and excavating their new nest hole.
