A small group on monkeys live near the Phnom Sombok Temple located north of Kratie town in Cambodia.

This one was rather cheeky although it adopted a threatening posture a few times so I used my 500mm and stayed a safe distance away...

This isn't going to win any awards but it shows a critically endangered Irrawady River Dolphin photographed in The Mekong River near the village of Kampi in Kratie province of Cambodia.

The number that still remain is thought to be less than 100 though it's hard to measure.

Conditions were rather tricky with the dolphins surfacing quickly and with driving rain and a rocking boat! Great experience though - we even saw a mother and calf which is fantastic for the species.

The van in the forgroud is a riot van just about to leave after a day of keeping the protesters under control.

I wish I could have been there to photograph the real action!
