The The Phoenicia hotel in Floriana, just outside Valletta in Malta. The Lonely Planet travel guide describes the hotel as:
"...this 1940 old grande dame feels like the kind of place Miss Marple might stay if she were in town, with its potted palms and art deco piano bar. ... In 1949, Princess Elizabeth (soon to the queen) and Prince Phillip danced in the ballroom here."

It really does feel like you are on a set for an episode of Poirot - and is the perfect place to relax after a day of being a tourist. Great tea too!
